“As he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct; since it is written, ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy’.”
(1 Peter 1:15-16).
Whether you have been in the crowd all your life or already count yourself a disciple, you need to Grow. Our various Grow groups assist each person to follow Jesus:
Participation at Tuesday Oratory is a great way to grow. Each Tuesday Oratory begins at 18:45 in the parish centre with the Rosary. Thereafter, a reflection is given by one of the Fathers on matters pertaining to the spiritual life, prayer or virtue etc. Participants then move to the church for communal prayers. Evenings conclude with refreshments and snacks at the Oratory house. Newcomers are asked to contact the office ahead of time so that a member of the Oratory can welcome and guide you through the evenings proceedings.
Another great way to grow is through participation in a Home Group. Currently we have 56 people participating in six Home Groups. Three groups are currently studying the Seven Deadly Sins – Seven Lively Virtues DVD course produced by Bishop Robert Barron; one group is making a 24 week study of prayer and worship through the Psalms; another is focusing on prayer using the Sunday readings; and the final group prays the Rosary together each week. You can either join an existing Group or begin your own Group with support and training from the Fathers – contact the parish office for more details.
