Parish News & Events:

COVID-19: Keeping the Faith

While churches remain closed, Bishop Vincent has given dispensation for the Faithful to participate in Mass via live-streaming. An act of Spiritual Communion fulfills the Sunday obligation at this time. In addition, those who feel at risk may continue to avoid public gatherings when church doors reopen, by participating online where possible.

To participate in a live-streamed Mass, visit our YouTube channel here.

COVID-19: Church Re-opening

In keeping with government legislation, our church may only open for public worship if strict safety guidelines are adhered to. These include limiting numbers, sanitising, taking register at the door and assisting parishioners to their seats. While we await Bishop Zungu’s decision on when to reopen, we are organising teams of volunteers – please contact the parish office urgently if you are able to assist. Fill in the Volunteer Reply Form here.

COVID-19: Relief Efforts

We continue to support our extended community with food and supplies during lockdown. You can help by donating food, blankets and towels for the Animal Welfare, making soup packs for our Virtual Soup Kitchen, or supporting our food parcel initiative with Spar and Caritas.

Donations can be delivered to the parish office or presbytery (9:00 – 12:00 weekdays) or use the bank details listed below to make a financial contribution.
